Letter to USDA on Late Planting

Given the extreme wet conditions faced by growers in North Dakota this spring, the canola and pulse industries sent a joint letter to USDA Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack recently asking USDA to cover the reductions in insurance coverage for crops planted after the Final Plant Date. Recently, other Senate offices have voiced the same concerns to USDA.
