About the Survey
The US Canola Association and Northern Canola Growers Association are partnering on this first-ever voluntary, nationwide survey to collect data on production practices (including tillage, fertilizer/chemical use, and yield performance).
-
Why it matters: USDA surveys historically omit canola. This benchmark data is crucial for informing scientific models that determine the value of canola for use as a biofuel feedstock.
-
What is required: The online survey consists of roughly 20 questions regarding your 2023, 2024, and 2025 crop years. It takes about 20–30 minutes to complete.
-
Compensation: Participants will receive a $40 gift card as a thank you for their time.
-
Deadline: The survey closes on Friday, July 24th.
-
Privacy: Individual farmer data is strictly confidential and used only in an aggregate fashion to build a national dataset. No personally identifiable information is required.
To ensure data integrity, the 2026 Canola Grower Survey has been updated with enhanced security protocols, including a required passcode and CAPTCHA test.
To protect the survey from automated spam and unverified entries, the direct link and passcode are no longer being hosted publicly online or on social media.
